We Need not Compete!
There was a One - Day competition organized by a SuperMall in one of the cities in the world. All were told that maximum purchases made in the shortest possible time ( 15 Minutes) would be given a discount of 50% on the total value.

So all who walked in the Mall were logged into an automatic timer and then the time of purchase started. Many rushed in and out, trying to reap the benefits offered by the Mall authorities.

However there was one young lady who went about gingerly shopping at her own pace and time, looking at the production/expiry dates of the products and also its features! One of the competitors asked her, lady, aren't you competing? You better hurry so that you can also benefit from the 50% discount offered. The Lady answered in a very low and gentle voice to the gentleman: you see, I am not concerned with the competition neither am I concerned about the hefty discount being offered by this Mall, because, the owner of the Store is my Father and the Manager of this mall is my Brother.

Truly, are we also in the rat race trying to make the most what the world is offering us or are we amassing wealth that will never rust!
We are truly privileged to have a Father in Heaven who looks after all our needs, while our Brother ( Jesus) has already made the way clear so that we don't need to compete but instead share and distribute what has been given to us.

God has blessed you so that you can be a blessing to others.Have a Wonderful & Meaningful Christmas.

Meeting Jesus Christ changes Everything.
Meeting Jesus Christ is a life changing moment. In this context let us look at Zachaeus the tax collector after his encounter with Jesus.

Zachaeus was considered a public sinner and was despised by all, but he had a great desire to see Jesus at Jericho.

The Lord turned to him, calling him by name: "Zachaeus come down quickly, for today I must stay at your house. What a powerful message in this simple phrase of our Lord. Jesus calls by name, a man who is despised by all.

In telling Zachaeus that he wishes to stay at his house "today", the Lord is saying that Zachaeus " the moment of Salvation is now". The Father who is rich in mercy, wants Jesus to go out and save what was lost.

The grace of that unforeseeable moment was such that it completely changed Zacheus' life. This passage in the Gospel shows us that "Love flowing from the heart of God and working through the heart of man, is the force that renews the world."

May we too experience Jesus "today".

Power of Praise --God is always Faithful

“...but he (Abraham) grew strong and was empowered by faith as he gave praise and glory to God”. (Romans 4:20, )

God promised Abraham that he would be the father of many nations—that his heirs would outnumber the stars in the sky. Abraham waited twenty years to see his promise. I’m sure there were many mornings he thought, “I must not have heard God right. It’s never going to happen. Besides, I’m too old to have a child.” No, he had to do just what we have to do. He had to get up and shake off doubt. It says, “He grew strong in faith by giving praise and thanksgiving to God.” Instead of complaining, I can hear him saying, “Father, I want to thank you that You are at work in my life. Even though this looks impossible, I know You always finish what You start. Thank you that my child is on the way.” All throughout the day thank God, not only for what He’s already done, but thank Him in advance for what He’s going to do. Thank Him that He’s going to bring your dreams to pass! As you give the Lord thanks and praise, just like Abraham, you will grow strong, be empowered by faith to see the fulfillment of the promise!

Blessings on the other side
“When they walk through the Valley of Weeping, it will become a place of refreshing springs. The autumn rains will clothe it with blessings” (Psalm 84:6).

======================================================================

Do you feel like you are walking through a tough place in your life today? When you walk through the “valley of weeping”, God is walking with you. He wants to strengthen and empower you to keep moving forward. He is leading you to a place of blessing and refreshing! Be encouraged today, it’s not over until God says it’s over, and He always causes us to triumph! The Bible says that weeping may endure for the night, but joy comes in the morning! It also says that the path of the righteous is like the light of dawn shining brighter until the full day. No matter how dark your circumstance may seem, you are on a path that is shining brighter and brighter. Know today that there is a place of victory on the other side of your challenge. Keep believing and keep expecting. As you continue to meditate on the goodness of God and declare His favor in your life, you will be strengthened and refreshed in your inner man.

Love Never Fails (I Corinthians 13:8).
We all have people in our lives that are difficult at times. Maybe it’s someone you work with, a family member or even your spouse. Relationships can be complicated, but remember: love never fails. The Word of God clearly defines love in 1 Corinthians 13. It says that love is patient and kind. It doesn’t seek its own way. Love doesn’t keep a record of wrongs. And most importantly, love never fails. Notice that this chapter doesn’t talk at all about how you feel. God’s love isn’t about feelings. It’s a choice. You can choose to be patient, even when you don’t feel like being patient. You can choose to be kind, even when you don’t feel like being kind. No matter what situation you find yourself in, you can choose love. And when you are walking in love, you will never fail because love never fails. Open your heart to God’s love today. Ask Him to show you how to love others better. As you walk in love, you’ll find peace and live in victory all the days of your life!
